HITSS is a research project led by investigators from the Chobanian and Avedisian School of Medicine at Boston University and the Brain Health Registry at the University of California, San Francisco. The study is funded by a grant from the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS) and the National Institute on Aging (NIA).  Grant #R01NS119651
